Jau, OS/2 - obwohl schon seit Jahren totgesagt - lebt immernoch. Leider hat IBM jetzt endgültig alles eingestellt, sogar der Verkauf von CDs wird nicht mehr fortgeführt.
Allerdings gibt es eine Petition, das IBM doch bitte den Quellcode freigeben möchte. Immerhin ist OS/2 als rein in Assembler (!!) geschriebenes Betriebsystem immernoch das schnellste und eins der sichersten, wenn nicht sogar DAS sicherste, Betriebsystem (gibt halt keine Scriptkiddies die sich damit auskennen ).
Ich würde mich freuen wenn viele von euch auch unterschreiben würden und vielleicht sogar das Wort verbreiten! :-)
Bis jetzt sind es bereits innerhalb von wenigen Stunden über 8200 Unterschriften geworden.
