ULV Prozessoren, in normalen Notebooks?

Hab demnächst einen ULV Prozessor hier liegen, modell U7500 1.06ghz 2MB L2 533mhz bus, klingt ja nach nix Besonderem.

Wird er laufen?

U7500 läuft mit i945GM xxxx Chipsatz (fast immer ! :-)

Gibts das auch für die C2Ds ? Hab einen T5500 drin und komme dank Intel-Lock weder unter 0,925V noch über 1,66 Ghz. Gibts die ULVs überhaupt in dem Package ? Frisst son durchschnittliches Toshiba-BIOS die andere CPU ?

Die Installation verlief ohne besondere Vorfälle und ich gratuliere Microsoft zu seinem Rekord, denn kein anderes Spiel hat es auf meiner Festplatte bisher auf knapp über 17GB Speicherplatz gebracht.

Das FSC hat nen VIA Chipset!
Der ULV Sperrt unter 0,875V kann auch nur bis 0,9V hoch, is also recht enge das V-core fenster, bei 1,06GHZ brauch er aber 0,875V also geht das schon, nach 30-45min geht beim FSC erst das erste mal der Lüfter an, danach nur selten. Sparsam is das ganze.

Dein U7500 ist ein OEM oder ein ES Version ?
Ich hab ein U7500 ES auf eine Gigabyte GA-8I945GMMFY-RH mit Euro 1,50 Kühler und ausgesteckte Lüfter. Selbst mit Prime95 die CPU erreicht nie die 50 Grad Grenze ...

Meiner ist ne ES version allerdings wohl das allererste stepping.
Macht nix, wenn ich den kurs sehe was die bei ebay so Bringen, und die 2t Notebook Nutzung bedenke, bleibt der drinne.

Im Notebook bekomm ich irgendwie jededen Lüfter an, könnte beim FSC noch Tricksen, via Bios auf Silent umgestellt. Dann geht der Lüfter noch 10 Grad später an.
